Terms of Service
Uni Hub is an independent student project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any specific university, nor with Moodle Pty Ltd. These terms govern your use of the app.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By downloading, installing or using Uni Hub ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. What Uni Hub is
Uni Hub is an independent, unofficial app that helps you access your university's learning management system (LMS) — for example to view your courses, schedule, grades and assignments. It is a convenience tool and is not a substitute for your institution's official systems.
3. Eligibility and your responsibilities
To use the app you must have a valid account at a supported institution. You agree to:
- keep your login credentials secure and not share them;
- use the app only to access your own account;
- comply with your institution's own rules and acceptable-use policies;
- not misuse, disrupt, overload or attempt to gain unauthorized access to your institution's systems through the app.
4. Your account and credentials
You sign in using your institution's credentials. The app stores them only on your device in encrypted local storage and transmits them only to your institution's servers to authenticate you. The developer does not receive or store your university password.
5. Service provided "as is"
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that information shown in the app (such as grades, schedules or announcements) is accurate, complete or current — your institution's official systems are always the authoritative source. Features may change or stop working if your institution changes its systems.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app, from reliance on information it displays, or from any action taken on your account.
7. Third-party services
The app communicates with your institution's LMS, uses Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.) to collect crash and error reports, and — for AUIS students — uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google LLC) to deliver push notifications and Google Play (Google LLC) for in-app updates on Android. Notification delivery depends on Google's service availability and is provided on an "as is" basis. Your use of the app is also subject to those parties' own terms and policies. See Sentry's privacy policy and Google's Firebase privacy information. How the app handles your data is described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Changes to the app and these terms
We may update the app and these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
9. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it, which removes data stored locally on your device. We may discontinue the app, or any of its features, at any time.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Iraq, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
